Carbocisteine – 500 mg

• Carbocisteine is a mucolytic agent used to relieve cough characterized by excessive or sticky sputum or phlegm to help treat respiratory tract disorders such as acute bronchitis.
• Carbocisteine also reduces the number of exacerbations associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and inhibits the adherence of bacteria and virus to human respiratory cells.
• Carbocisteine is also used in the treatment of otitis media with effusion (glue ear).
